SMI Companies’ quality system is an integrated approach utilizing a comprehensive quality system manual. The manual is supported and implemented by established operating procedures that provide functional level control, describe technical product and/or process requirements and provide “how to” information for achieving the highest level of quality possible. The quality system is accredited by ASME and operates in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 standards. This system is subject to periodic re-verification and audit to maintain excellence.
Electronic traceability in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 Standards is maintained on all raw material inventories. In many cases we can begin the production of your order immediately from our large inventory of raw steel.
